Day 11
Hello, and welcome to Alternative Advent.
Throughout advent 2011 there will be 25 new video clips, one per day, created using footage from my archive of live visuals as well as never-before-seen clips. Each is accompanied by a new or rare track created by bands and musicians that I have invited to collaborate on the project.
I started to create content for the live arena as a way of giving life to graphical ideas that may never have otherwise seen the light of day. This project’s musical participants have treated their submissions in a similar way, making the calendar an opportunity to air musical phrases and experiments that never made it into fully-formed songs; an outlet for unrealised ideas.

David Wilson is a video artist based in London, most well known for his music video work. He has created promos for The Maccabees, Metronomy, Keaton Henson, Little Boots and Skream.
